Ruby comes from rural Kansas where she lived a very simple life with only the basic necessities. Everything changes when she moves to Florida. Other girls don't treat her the same way at school, and she has a difficult time fitting in. Ruby's not in Kansas anymore! This is a very enjoyable children's book.
